Clio Cup Ace Ed Pead has joined forces with Westbourne Motorsport for their Junior Driver Development programme.  The team will field cars in the SaxMax championship this year and aim to be in the Clio Cup or Seat Championship by 2009. Team Owner, Richard Colburn said . 

"We have enlisted the services of Ed as our head coach because he has the experience of racing, coaching and will be able to teach and guide the younger drivers. Our aim is to develop them in Junior Championships and then progress into Clio Cup or Seat Championships rather than the cost prohibitive single seater route." 

Pead said "This is a great opportunity and I'm looking forward to teaching the younger drivers, they seem to be a lot more receptive to your advice and keen to learn.  We have been working hard with James Colburn, who's just turned 14, through the winter and my goal is to see him on the podium this year."
