Are you are looking to improve your driving or racing skills? Perhaps you just want to know how to drive a car quickly and safely? What if you could learn from a professional racing driver? There is no better way than having a professional racing driver sit with you showing you how to improve.
The theory is simple!! The implementation is somewhat different.
I have 10 year’s of International Racing under my belt, from International Karting, Formula Ford and Renault Clio Cup to Touring Cars. You will learn various techniques that took me, and many other people months and even years to learn and refine! I am a Senior Instructor at Silverstone Racing School and also work on a regular basis at Palmer Sports, which has provided me with valuable instructing knowledge and techniques over the past six years.
There are different options to achieve your goal:
- Track Days*
These days offer a lot of track time where I can look at your overall driving ability and start to build up your knowledge. We’ll spend the day working on and refining the techniques and understanding the importance of weight transference, racing lines, heel and toe, braking, power application and vision through the corner.
- 1 Hour Sessions**
Based at Silverstone we can have an exclusive 1 hour session on track without interruption in the latest Lotus Exige.
- Test Days***
These days are for the more experienced driver who owns their own race/track cars. This is where I will set a benchmark time in the car and we can look at the data and overlay each session to see in what areas improvements can be made. I will also work on the set up of the car so you are confident in the car’s handling ability.

You can either bring your own car or I will be able to arrange a car that you may wish to drive*. I will also organise the whole day including the track which you want to go to and any special requirements you may need.

*Please note that to drive on a track day in the UK you must hold a full driving licence that you must have on the day.
** Please note that to participate on any day via the Silverstone Drive School, you must have held your road licence for more than 1 year at least.
***Please note that to drive on a test day you must hold a valid MSA race licence.
